基本情况Basics
计算机应用技术中加合作班是经教育部国际合作与交流司批准、由湖北科技职业学院与加拿大荷兰学院(Holland College，Canada)联合举办的专科教育项目，学制三年，采用中英文授课，教学计划及教学评估标准由中加双方共同制定。学生完成所有课程且成绩合格的，可获得湖北科技职业学院和加拿大荷兰学院联合颁发的双专科毕业证书。
Computer Applications & Technologies is a three-year bilingual educational joint venture (EJV) program by Hubei Science & Technology College and Holland College, Canada, approved by the department of International Cooperation and Communication of Ministry of Education (P.R.C) . The curriculum and evaluation scales of the program are made by the both colleges through negotiations. Students who have passed all the courses on the curriculum will receive diplomas from the both colleges.

以“英语精、知识新、技能强、交际广”的国际化办学理念为指导，专业课程体系与国际标准接轨，引进加方优质教育资源，融合中加两校办学优势，共同设计课程教学计划。
“English Proficiency, Up-to-date Knowledge, Cutting-edge Technology, Communications” guidelines.Majors courses are design and developed by the both colleges in align with the international standards. Resources from Holland college and experience from Hubei Science and Technology are organically combined in making and scheduling educational plans.

引进北美CBE教学模式，更关注知识的实际运用，注重培养职业能力和职业技能，教学进度根据学生情况和专业要求而定，教学内容模块化，学习资料多样化，在成绩评定和教学反馈上，注重技能测试和实践考核，反馈及时，学习效果直接呈现。
CBE Learning Approach CBE learning approach has been adopted in EJV program. CBE gauges learning based on a student's demonstration of understanding. Rather than moving on to the next subject based on how much time was spent on the current topic, professors check in with students and allow them to demonstrate their mastery beforebuilding with more information.

双注册+双学籍+双证书，小班授课，班级人数不超过40人。湖北科技职业学院和加拿大荷兰学院同时注册，获双学籍，中加合作院校学分互认。学生修满所需学分，考试成绩合格，将获取湖北科技职业学院和加拿大荷兰学院的专科毕业证书。此外，学生语言考试合格可在加拿大院校继续修读学士学位和硕士学位。
Double Registries and DiplomasClasses are in small scale, under 40 students. Students are registered in both college. Credits are transferable. Students who have passed all the courses earning enough credits will receive diplomas from the both colleges. With the diplomas, students with sufficient IETS scores can apply for bachelor or even master degree programs in Canada.

师资团队由中加两校骨干教师构成。专业三分之一核心课程由荷兰学院教师进行全英文授课，全面提升学生的英语水平和专业知识，为学生强化英语以及后续赴加拿大继续学习打下语言和专业基础。中加双方教师每年定期开展合作、交流、培训，在教育思想、教育模式和教育方法以及专业知识结构上优势互补，共同提升。
EJV Professors Over one third of core courses are taught by professors from Holland College, adapting students to the English-learning environment, in prepare for further studies in Canada. Professors from EJV program will communicate, meet and train together each year as routine, sharing ideas and thoughts on the courses and learning approaches.
